Will these headlights cause a dashboard error code?
No. All of our LED and Laser upgrade kits are fully CANBUS-ready. We include built-in resistors and specialized drivers to ensure your BMW's computer sees the correct voltage, meaning zero 'Bulb Out' errors on your dash.
Is installation plug-and-play or do I need to cut wires?
95% of our products are 100% plug-and-play. We design our kits to use factory connectors. For the few models that require minor modification, we provide detailed step-by-step guides and all necessary wire taps.
Do I need to code my car (e.g., using BimmerCode)?
For simple LED ring upgrades, coding is usually not required. However, for complete headlight assemblies or certain Laser modules, we recommend coding out the 'cold/warm bulb checks' to ensure maximum lifespan of the LEDs. Our support team can guide you through this.
Are these headlights road legal?
Our products meet strict DOT and SAE standards for beam pattern and brightness. While they are significantly brighter than OEM, they are engineered to maintain a sharp cutoff line to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.
What is the lifespan of the LEDs?
Our high-output LEDs are rated for over 50,000 hours of continuous use. This means if you drive 4 hours every single night, they will last for over 30 years.
Can I install these myself?
If you are comfortable removing your bumper and headlight assembly (common for most BMWs), you can install these yourself. Most customers complete the install in 1-2 hours. If you're not comfortable with tools, any local car shop can easily handle the installation.
